Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is entering a period of large-scale transformation across our Trust and we are recruiting a Project Manager.
In the role you will independently manage a range of projects and provide project support to large/complex projects to deliver change and service improvements across the organisation to ultimately benefit the service users and staff
You will engage effectively with Care Groups and corporate team leads to ensure effective delivery of programmes and projects. You will support the development of bids and tenders and implementation of new service developments as required.
You will ensure projects remain on track by management of project actions and through the identification (and mitigation) of risks and issues.
Main duties of the job
- To ensure that project management principles and methods are followed, adhering to organisational project management framework
- Support project teams to make decisions on the most appropriate project management approach
- Co-ordinate, manage and support the planning and execution of multiple projects from initiation to closure using a range of Project Management methodologies to plan and implement project deliverables, ensuring targets, quality indicators, benefits and milestones are met within the agreed parameters of the project
- Preparing and maintaining all necessary project documentation working closely with the project owner and project team
- Ensure that project importance, scope, targets and plan are effectively communicated to other team members, care group staff and directorates and liaise closely with Project Owner/Manager to assure the overall direction and integrity of the project
- To develop and be responsible for managing and maintaining comprehensive Project Plans outlining clear milestones, identifying accountability and to monitor and report on progress against the plans, ensuring the vision remains clear in order to produce the desired outcome/result
