The closing date is 08 April 2026

Job summary

Are you a Mental Health Nurse looking for a new opportunity to work in an organisation that will help you develop and achieve your goals to become the best you can be? If so, you're in luck.

Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust has an opportunity to join our Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment team in South East Staffordshire based at The Friary, Lichfield.

We work with people who are experiencing a mental health crisis, who require extra support alongside their regular support network or who can have the same treatment provided at home that they would receive in a Mental Health Hospital. As an integral team in the Urgent Care Pathway we work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Main duties of the job

  • Assessing mental health crises in individuals referred to the service and supporting the delivery of safe and effective home treatment for an identified client group and in accordance with a wellbeing and recovery action plan
  • You will participate in the delivery of the agreed aims and objectives of the service and identify factors which may inhibit these from being achieved.
  • You will assist in the delivery of a high standard of nursing care to service users referred to the team.
  • You will implement agreed systems for the monitoring of effectiveness of care.
  • You will participate in the education and management of junior staff.
