Job summary
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a part-time Exercise Instructor (Band 3) to join our Community Respiratory Service, based in the Stoke-on-Trent area. This role focuses predominantly on Pulmonary Rehabilitation, supporting adults with chronic respiratory conditions to improve their physical fitness, confidence, and quality of life through structured, evidence-based group programmes.
Additional Information
o 0.8 WTE with some flexibility in hours.
o Travel across community locations in Stoke-on-Trent required.

Main duties of the job
o Deliver and support Pulmonary Rehabilitation programmes under the supervision of Allied Health Professionals.
o Ensure safe and effective use of exercise equipment and monitor patient response.
o Set up clinical areas, manage PR equipment, and maintain a safe group environment.
o Support community based rehabilitation sessions.
o Provide lifestyle advice and physical activity guidance.
o Communicate effectively with patients and carers.
o Record patient information accurately and support administrative tasks.
o Work collaboratively with Physiotherapists, Nurses, and Assistant Practitioners.
