We are offering an exciting opportunity to join the Community Nursing Team as a Team Administrator based in Stafford.

You will provide a comprehensive administrative service to assist in the smooth running of a community nursing team including the use of various IT systems and Microsoft Outlook and Office.

Prioritisation of your own workload is essential to ensure effectiveness and efficiency in delivering objectives whilst working with minimal supervision. Being proactive and able to demonstrate good organisational skills and excellent communication skills both in verbal and written correspondence.

The role is varied and requires confidentiality, initiative, flexibility and capability of working under pressure and to deadlines with the ability to relate to a very wide range of organisations and individuals within and outside the Trust.

Main duties of the job

As the Team Admin you will establish and maintain effective working relationships both within the Partnership Trust and with external organisations in order to meet service requirements and support and demonstrate the Trust's equality values.

As part of this role, you will be expected to:

  • Adhere to policies and procedures, maintaining strict confidentiality regarding all information concerning patients and staff at all times in accordance with Caldicott Guidance and Data Protection Act 1998.
  • Actively deal with day to day issues - utilising negotiating and persuasive skills to obtain responses from others in order to meet deadlines etc.
  • Provide support and assistance with typing, filing and photocopying. Data inputting when required and general administrative duties.
  • Utilise Microsoft calendar, ESR, SharePoint, RIO, E-Community and other IT systems as required.
  • Cleanse data from the various IT systems as and when required. Reporting anomalies, trends and patterns to the appropriate person.
