Manage the successful deployment and implementation of designated high and business critical priority MPFT Capital Digital projects.
To manage MPFT Digital capital associated projects and workstreams.
To lead on Trust wide capital projects where digital is a key stakeholder.
To support the management of the digital capital budget and yearly spend plan.
To support the delivery of the digital capital business plan
Main duties of the job
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Main duties and responsibilities
1. Act as a key contact point for dedicated specific MPFT Digital capital projects within the Trust.
2. To ensure that PRINCE2 project management principles are followed within the projects and to promote these principles to others within the project team as appropriate.
3. To lead project group meetings.
4. To liaise with other members of staff (both inside and outside the Trust) on matters relating to MPFT Digital projects and capital projects, including ensuring that the actions agreed are actioned.
5. To develop and be responsible for maintaining comprehensive Project Plans outlining clear milestones and identifying accountability and to monitor and report on progress against the plans.
6. Support the effective capital financial management of departmental and project budgets.
7. Communicate project importance, scope, targets and plan to other team members and directorates.
8. Delegate work to staff members within other teams where necessary and appropriate, and ensure progress is made and project timescales are met.
9. Identify discrepancies in reporting, project risks and issues and resolve them in liaison with the project managers.
10. To work with key stakeholders to ensure that there is clear understanding of the problems and commitment to the proposed solutions.

- To plan, deploy and manage the operational deployment of MPFT Digital capital assets and support lifecycle management.
- To support the development of capital funding opportunities and business cases that have capital implications and opportunity.
- To deputise for the Head of Capital, MPFT Digital.
- To resolve problems that arise during the projects and to escalate any problems that cannot be resolved to the appropriate person or group.
- The post operates in a technical environment and therefore requires proven capability for project planning, stake holder negotiation, document production, research, investigations and a good level of technical IT competence as well as a competent knowledge of Trust financial procedures and capital budget planning. A practical hands-on approach to implementation and strong communication skills are required
