We are seeking a motivated and HCPC-registered Podiatrist to join our Partnership Trust, working across community and hospital settings. You will manage a defined caseload, delivering high-quality, person-centred care while contributing to service development and supporting colleagues where required.
Main duties of the job
You will assess referrals, develop and implement care and treatment plans, and evaluate outcomes to promote independence, safety, and improved health and wellbeing. The role includes disease management, prevention, admission avoidance, early supported discharge, and palliative care where appropriate.
You will use professional judgement to tailor interventions to individual needs, maintain accurate clinical records, and ensure safe use of equipment across varied settings. The role also involves providing advice to service users, carers, and professionals, supporting junior staff and students, contributing to audit and quality improvement, and participating in supervision, training, and service development activities.
