Applications are invited from Consultant Psychologists working in MPFT's Health and Justice (H&J) Service for the post of Professional Lead for Psychology.The successful applicant will be motivated and committed to working with multi-disciplinary colleagues to make a positive contribution to improving the quality of health and justice services for service users and developing processes that support the health and wellbeing of staff working in the service. They will have an interest/experience in compassion focused, trauma informed approaches and will be keen to contribute to the development of psychologically informed approaches across the H&J Directorate.
Main duties of the job
The main duties include:
- Responsibility for the governance of the psychological practice of all staff groups across Health & Justice Services.- Provision of professional advice and guidance regarding psychological practice within Health & Justice Services.- In collaboration with other senior Health & Justice colleagues to develop and support the delivery of service wide strategic and business planning.- Support, lead and work with psychological practitioners across Health & Justice Services.
