An exciting role has been developed within our Community Children's Nursing Team covering North Staffordshire and Stoke-On -Trent. The future vision could be for the role to be extended to cover our partner CCN teams across the Staffordshire footprint.
The post holder will work closely with an established team comprising of The Team leader, Community Children's nurses, Family Support Workers and Administrative support. The post holder will work to ensure safe delivery of care whilst supporting the Team Leader with all aspects of Clinical and Quality delivery within the service.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will support the development of this new role alongside colleagues using existing skills and newly learnt qualities.
All main duties can be found extensively in the attached Job Description. Duties will involve:
- Be a Clinical and Quality Practitioner with a Community Children's Nursing background and have a detailed professional and clinical knowledge in competence and training competency frameworks. Providing clinical support within scope of practice to ensure quality and clinical performance.
- Have supervisory, training and leadership responsibilities where appropriate and have some responsibility for team performance and service developments/improvements.
- Demonstrate initiative and be creative in finding solutions to problems.
- Work with the team leader undertaking delegated tasks in team management.
- To offer expert advice, support and supervision to other health care professionals in theservice.
