- UHNM, inclusive of Black Country Procurement Group and North Midlands and Cheshire Pathology Service.
This will be the case for 7 calendar days from: 18/02/2026 to 24/02/2026 following this the vacancy will be open externally.
The post holder will have responsibility to manage and co-ordinate the day-to-day operations within their profession.
The role will include working closely with other stakeholders; provide support relating to any day to day operational matters.
The post holder will communicate and negotiate with internal and external contractors, GP practices and senior management on complex matters to ensure problematic areas is addressed professionally, to promote joint working between various disciplines.
To liaise on current working practices to promote a culture of continuous improvement reporting to the Assistant Facilities Manager.
Main duties of the job
- Assist with the evaluation of patient footfall each quarter linking in with facilities lead to formulate quarterly reports.
- Assist with site room bookings linking in with the facilities lead around Service Line reporting.
- Ensure site information is updated for example: door codes and access times etc.
- Assist and communicate with other designates to ensure sites are up to date with relevant audits, for example Health and Safety and fire and risk assessments.
- Assist and lead with the user group meetings with all services on site.
- Assist and lead as required with PFI contractual monitoring
- Arrive/depart patients using the clinical system and follow up appointments where necessary addressing any issues as they arise
- Carry out general reception duties where necessary and support staff in the day-to-day management of the nurse messaging system ensuring that messages are relayed to the clinical team as required.
