Join our friendly Community Clinic team who are striving to deliver excellence in wound care to patients in North Staffordshire as a Senior Community Nurse on 22.5 Hours per week, permanent basis.

We are a professional, skilled and friendly team who work safely with our patients in North Staffordshire to provide innovative, high quality, evidence-based wound care.
Our service operates Monday-Friday (including Bank Holidays) - 08:45 - 17:00. We have 16 clinics across the North Staffordshire locality.
You will be required to travel to different Clinic sites as not all clinics operate each working day.
Main duties of the job
Working in collaboration with colleagues and the wider multi-disciplinary team you will:
-Coordinate the clinic service. You will work alongside the Lead Specialist Practitioner and other Senior Community Nurses to manage the caseload, including reviewing demand and capacity.
-Be competent in core wound care assessment & clinical skills. You can share your knowledge and expertise with others, signposting to more specialist services as appropriate.
-Be an effective leader, demonstrating care, compassion and empathy whilst role modelling the Trust values. You will be able to support staff within the team to develop their own skills and will offer a high standard of supervision & appraisal.
-Support with quality assurance, including audit, incident reporting and gaining patient feedback. You will work with the leadership team to evaluate this in line with objectives.
-Provide holistic care to patients who attend our Wound Care Clinics, including assessment, planning and delivering care in line with our Trust's Tissue Viability Treatment Pathways. You will be able to work autonomously within policies and guidelines, as well as, working effectively within the team.
Due to the nature of community working, ability to travel across the patch to provide care to patients is essential.
