Job summary
We are thrilled to share we have a fantastic opportunity to join our Integrated Community Occupational Therapy Team as a Senior Occupational Therapist.
Our Community Occupational Therapy Team are looking to recruit a highly skilled Occupational Therapist who will deliver high quality care and leadership as part of the team based in Stoke-On-Trent and North Staffordshire.
You will work alongside the Operational Lead, you will hold your own complex caseload and work as part of an integrated care service to support the wider team of Occupational Therapists, Assistant Practitioners and OT Assistants to serve our communities. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled, motivated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist with a passion for making a difference to the lives of people and their families, whilst coaching and developing an effective clinical team.
This role is for 37.5 hours per week. There may be consideration for some flexible working options in line with service requirements.
As part of the role, you will be visiting patients in their homes so you will be required to travel adequately and efficiently over a large geographical
Main duties of the job
As an Advanced Occupational Therapist, you will have a detailed professional and clinical knowledge.
As part of this role, you will be expected to be:
Skilled in the assessment of complex/specialist care/support needs and in the development, implementation and evaluation of care/support packages.
Have supervisory, training and leadership responsibilities and will have some responsibility for team performance and service developments/improvements.
Support and oversee excellent Occupational Therapy practice through mentorship and day to day guidance to team members and other professionals.
Promote and champion good practice in all Occupational Therapy provision including internal and external partnership working.
