Job summary
This vacancy is only open at this stage to internal employees of the following organisations within the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care System:

- Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust
- University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust, inclusive of Black Country Procurement Group and North Midlands and Cheshire Pathology Service.
This will be the case for 7 calendar days from: 25/11/2025 to 01/12/2025 following this the vacancy will be open externally.
The administrator will provide full confidential and efficient administrative support to the CAMHS Crisis and Intensive Support Team. Working closely with the Business Support Officer, the post holder will be required to work on his/her own initiative and demonstrate a willingness to help others and be a key member of the team. The post holder will be expected to be able to prioritise work and meet deadlines in order to fulfil the requirements of the post. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential with an ability to deal with highly sensitive and challenging situations. The post holder will be required to utilise a personal computer for word processing and database management.
Main duties of the job
- Provide a highly confidential and sensitive administrative support to the CAMHS Crisis and Intensive Support Team.
- Produce a range of highly confidential, good quality documents including letters, memoranda, team minutes etc. from written transcription.
- Receive phone calls and general enquiries from families, professionals, various agencies (both statutory and voluntary) in a confidential, courteous and sensitive manner as per Trust policy, referring telephone queries to a more senior colleague where appropriate.
- Maintain an effective office support system including uploading documents, photocopying and scanning on behalf of the CAMHS Crisis and Intensive Support Team.
- Input new referrals received by the team onto Rio/E-Community and recording relevant information.
- Order and maintain adequate stocks of office stationery, and prerequisites, using the E-Procurement system.
- To work in conjunction with the Business support Officer to ensure adequate office cover within the CAMHS Crisis and Intensive Support Team during periods of annual leave, sickness etc.
