Advanced Clinical Practitioner- South Staffs Adult ADHD and Autism Service 1x 22.5 hours.
An opportunity has arisen to recruit 1 x Band 8a 22.5 hours Advanced Clinical Practitioner within our Adult ADHD and Autism assessment service.
We are seeking dynamic, highly motivated Advanced Clinical Practitioner ideally with experience of working in a community setting. As a registered professional, you will be committed to providing a high-quality service and will support in the development of our ADHD and Autism clinic.
The service will cover the East of South Staffordshire offering remote and face to face appointments. There may be times where support is needed on the West due to clinical needs Ideally you will have experience with working with patients diagnosed with ADHD and Autism although appropriate training will be provided. You will be completing ADHD and Autism assessments for diagnosis and initiating treatment.
Main duties of the job
* Provide comprehensive diagnostic assessments for ADHD and autism across South Staffordshire.
* The direct provision of high quality evidence based person-centred physical and mental health care to service users within the adult ADHD and autism service.
* Providing leadership in the delivery of high quality, safe and effective care to the wider multi-disciplinary team.
* Contribute to service innovation and improvement, ensuring excellence in community care delivery.
* Facilitating learning through the development and delivery of specialist clinically focussed education and training programmes.
* Support, plan and coordinate the physical healthcare needs of service users in the community service; including the requirement for annual physical examinations and investigations.
* Order necessary investigations, and provide treatment and care both individually, as part of a team, and through liaison with / referral to other agencies, e.g. ECGs.
