This is an exciting opportunity to join a new, innovative Autism and ADHD Workshop Pathway Pilot Project. This 12-month fixed-term post is available to internal candidates seeking to extend their working hours.
The successful applicant will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a robust business support infrastructure to assist the Service Manager and Operational/Clinical Lead in achieving the Trust's objectives and targets. Key responsibilities will include developing and implementing systems and processes to monitor performance against the Trust's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be required to analyse and extract data from various report formats relating to all KPIs (both quantitative and qualitative), and present this information to the Service Manager and Operational/Clinical Lead in a format suitable for use within services and teams for planning and supervision purposes.
The role requires the authority and confidence to approach individual clinicians to highlight performance issues and request appropriate action. Where necessary, concerns regarding performance or compliance should be escalated to the relevant Operational/Clinical Lead, with further escalation to the Service Manager if required.
Additionally, the post holder will work collaboratively with Corporate Services to identify areas of under-recording of clinical activity, and support services and teams to improve the accuracy and quality of data recording.

The post holder will be responsible for requesting a range of information and activity reports on behalf of the Service Manager and Operational/Clinical Lead. These may include data on timeliness, data quality, contract monitoring, waiting times, and cancelled clinics.
They will act as a central point of contact for responding to and resolving queries related to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), where appropriate, on behalf of the Service Manager and Clinical Lead. Administrative support will be provided specifically in relation to the Business Support Officer (BSO) role.The role also involves attending relevant internal and external meetings, taking and distributing minutes using appropriate systems, arranging meetings, and sourcing agenda items as directed. The post holder will process staff-related documentation such as change forms, termination forms, data amendment forms, and other HR-relevant information.
They will support and actively participate in monthly Business Meetings within clinical teams and contribute to a cohesive and consistent framework across services by engaging with the wider BSO network. This includes offering support to colleagues to ensure equity and consistency in service provision.
Liaison with Corporate and Support Services will be required to obtain performance-related data, including activity reports, workforce and training data, and financial information. Regular monthly updates will be provided to the Service Manager and Operational/Clinical Lead to support service planning and delivery.
The post requires proficiency in a range of software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as the use of standard office equipment such as multi-function devices for printing, scanning, and photocopying.
Regular supervision with the Service Manager is expected, and attendance at BSO meetings is required. The post holder should also be accessible during core working hours to ensure effective communication and support.
