Adult Speech and Language Therapist - Band 5-6 Development Role

The Speech and Language Therapy Service in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent provides assessment and treatment for adults with communication and/or swallowing difficulties in community settings, including patients' own homes. We offer dysphagia, communication, and voice assessment and intervention, supported by strong leadership and compassionate management.

We have an exciting permanent Band 5-6 development role available, created due to internal team progression. The role is 22.5 hours per week and will cover our South Staffordshire patch, with the base at either Cannock or Lichfield.

What We're Looking for

We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated, independently practicing clinician who is committed to delivering excellent patient care. You should be happy to travel to see patients in locations that suit them best, engage effectively with patients and their families, and provide both face-to-face and telephone appointments.

Essential Skills and Experience:

Registered Speech and Language Therapist

Willingness to undertake post-registration training relevant to the role

Commitment to attending Clinical Excellence Networks relevant to the post
