If so, you're in luck we have an opportunity to join our Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment team in West Staffordshire, based at Haywood Lodge, St Georges Hospital in Stafford.
We are looking to recruit a skilled, dynamic and motivated individual, who will have day to day responsibility for the operational leadership of this multidisciplinary team. You will work alongside the collective leadership to ensure that a high quality of service is delivered within this clinical area, and that the team feel well led.
You will offer experienced, visible leadership, form effective working relationships with colleagues and professional leads both internal and external to the team, and act as an excellent role model. The successful candidate will have a clear role in reviewing and maintaining operational standards, performance and management aspects.
Main duties of the job
To engage in and support the development of policies, procedures and working practices within the team. Ensure implementation, monitoring, evaluation and compliance with all policies and procedures in area of responsibility.
Work collaboratively with the Service Manager and team clinical leads in the planning and delivery of the service.
To manage designated team, exercising effectiveness and flexible budget control in order to stay within budgetary limits in conjunction with locality manager.
Maintain the achievement of Key Performance Indicators and Essential Standards
Day to day line management responsibility for staff working within the Team including management of sickness, performance, recruitment and appraisals.

Here in the CRHT team we work with people who are experiencing a mental health crisis, require extra support alongside their regular support network or who can have the same treatment provided at home that they would receive in a Mental Health Hospital. As an integral team in the Urgent Care Pathway we work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We are a team that consists of Band 5 and 6 Nurses, Band 3 and Band 4 Support Workers, Social Workers, Non-Medical Prescribers, Medical Staff, Occupational Therapists, Administrators and Business Support Staff. As we work with people with all types of mental health presentations, we need to have a range of skills and interests that create a strong and responsive team.
