Health & Justice Support Time Recovery Worker

Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of the Liaison and Diversion Service in Cheshire. This post will increase the capacity of the Liaison and Diversion service team to respond to individuals that enter the criminal justice system, with a focus on engagement and support.This role will include:o Work as part of a team with the freedom to work independently, particularly in relation to providing advice to service users, carers, and professionals who contact the service.o Work with service users in conjunction with other professionals, to devise and implement effective individualised programmes of support.o Liaise with other agencies as required dependant on the person's presentation, work closely with other agencies

Main Duties of job: Work within limitations and escalate to Practitioner as appropriate.o To support Practitioners, STR Workers and Lived Experience workers and Admin as necessary.o Provide a community outreach service within Cheshire.o Work as part of a team with the freedom to work independently, particularly in relation to providing advice to service users, carers, and professionals who contact the service.o Work with service users in conjunction with other professionals, to devise and implement effective individualised programmes of support.o Liaise with other agencies as required dependant on the person's presentation, work closely with other Health Care Professionals, and community agencies.o Actively promote the service to external agencies as a positive example of user led services.
