Job summary

Midlands Partnership Foundation Trust provides a comprehensive range of mental health services to the population of Staffordshire and Shropshire. The Hatherton Centre is a 47-bedded medium-secure facility incorporating an assessment unit, a rehabilitation unit, long-term medium secure service, Intensive Care unit, a well-equipped Living Skills Centre and a Sports Hall. The service also provides a multi-agency community service, forensic liaison scheme, out-patient facilities and court assessment and engagement schemes.

The role requires working shifts over a 24 hr period including weekends and nights.

Main duties of the job

To provide support and spend therapeutic time with an allocated group of service users with mental health needs within a secure setting.

To promote service users recovery through the delivery of high quality, outcome measured care and evidence based interventions.

To assist Registered Professionals in the implementation and evaluation of individualised care plans.

Due to the nature of ward provision you will be required to undertake 24 hour shift working on a rotational basis.
