Job summary
Midlands Partnership Foundation Trust provides a comprehensive range of mental health services to the population of Staffordshire and Shropshire.
The Hatherton Centre is a 47-bedded medium-secure facility incorporating an assessment unit, a rehabilitation unit, long-term medium secure service, Intensive Care unit, a well-equipped Living Skills Centre and a Sports Hall. The service also provides a multi-agency community service, forensic liaison scheme, out-patient facilities and court assessment and engagement schemes.
Ellesmere house is an all-male 12 bedded low secure Learning disabilities service. The aim of the service is to provide assessment and a rehabilitation framework to allow for community or less restrictive placements. Ellesmere has access to multiple facilities and a diverse staff compliment including nursing, psychology, occupational therapy, activity coordinator, speech and language therapy and a dedicated responsible clinician.
The role requires working shifts over a 24 hr period including weekends and nights.

Our Trust provides mental health, learning disability and children and family services across South Staffordshire, Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin. We have over 350 inpatient beds and a broad range of community services such as crisis resolution and home treatment, early intervention and memory services.
Specialist mother and baby, eating disorder and medium secure forensic mental health services care for patients from across the region and we have contracts across the country for IAPT, addiction and some health services in prisons as well as hosting a network for inpatient mental health care for serving military personnel.
Our 3,500 staff serve a local population of 1.1 million in Shropshire and South Staffordshire, and within a range of services based from Leeds to the Isle of Wight and Liverpool to Cambridge.
