Telford and Wrekin Community Mental Health Service provides assessment and evidence based interventions for people who are presenting with complex mental health difficulties that are significantly impacting on their daily life alongside our partner organisations.

We are looking for someone who can;

  • Inspire and develop a multidisciplinary team, ensuring a positive and cohesive work environment.

  • Lead team-building initiatives to strengthen collaboration and morale.

  • Oversee service delivery, ensuring efficient and effective care pathways.

  • Work closely with GPs, social care, and voluntary sector partners to integrate services.

  • Implement quality improvement strategies to enhance patient outcomes.

Main duties of the job

  • You will carry day to day responsibility for the operational management and delivery of the service.
  • Ensure that a high quality of service is developed and delivered within this clinical area.
  • Working in partnership with service users, carers, the wider multi-disciplinary team and other partners and agencies to ensure effective outcomes
  • To provide leadership and support the Service Manager in ensuring high quality care is provided across the pathway
  • With the support of the Service Manager, you will hold delegated responsibility for the management of the pathway team budget.
  • You will have responsibility for ensuring performance within designated trust standards including Key Performance Indicators and financial management targets.
  • You will be responsible for the management of staff within the team, leadership, the delivery and delegation of management supervision and ensuring appropriate clinical / professional supervision takes place as per Trust policy and procedure.
  • You will also play a key role in building relationships and partnership both internally but also within the wider system to ensure that the efficient and effective care is delivered to individuals
