Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Band 3 Assistant to join our North Integrated Community Occupational Therapy Team. You will cover Stoke on Trent, Newcastle under Lyme and the Staffordshire Moorlands area . You willwork within a well-established OT team, implementing treatment plans and working alongside Occupational Therapists to deliver a high standard of care within a patient's home environment, promoting the improvement of health and wellbeing of the population served.

Main duties of the job

As a band 3 Occupational Therapy Assistant you would join our dynamic team of Community Occupational Therapy based in North Staffordshire.

You will work under the supervision of qualified Occupational Therapists to help implement and deliver treatment plans for adults with a variety of physical health needs within their home environment. Interventions focus on rehabilitation, assistive equipment, education, self-management, and lifestyle advice to promote independence. The post provides opportunities to gain specialist skills in rehabilitation, assistive equipment, and supporting the qualified OT Team with manual handling and implementing bespoke treatment plans. You will also be responsible for carrying out certain administrative and non-clinical duties as required.
