You will be joining our friendly, welcoming and supportive Community Mental Health Administration Team with work both on our clinic Reception and in the admin office.
Ideally you would hold an NVQ level 2 or equivalent qualification and/or experience, however this is not essential as full training is given. We support training and ambition with many of our Admin Assistants having been successful in achieving promotional posts within our Service or the wider Trust. Staff meet with the Admin Team Leader regularly for 1-to-1 supervision sessions and annual appraisals.
Main duties of the job
To be successful in this role you will be required be organised, professional and adaptable with a sound level of written and spoken English.
This Receptionist/Admin Assistant role includes:
Strong communication and customer service skills
Managing the flow of visitors to our busy Reception through the day
Welcoming service users and their family or carers into the service on arrival
. Personal resilience to handle telephone calls, queries and message taking
Using our clinical system RiO, inputting, creating letters etc
Completing a wide range of admin tasks from an electronic workflow inbox
Scanning, uploading and copying.
. Ability produce quality documents in a very busy environment
. Good time management and prioritising work
Room bookings via our Micad booking system.
