Job summary

Band 2 Admin Assistant/Receptionist 12 month fixed term contract

Work base - Reception, East Admin Team, St Michael's Court, Lichfield WS13 6EE

Hours - 9 am to 5 pm Monday-Friday

Please note: this is a 12 month fixed term contract with our Trust, but could open doors and lead to opportunities within MPFT for future employment if the successful candidate proves themselves during this contract period.

You will be joining our friendly, welcoming and supportive Community Mental Health Administration Team in this role as primary Receptionist at our community base at St Michael's Court, Lichfield.

Ideally you would hold an NVQ level 2 or equivalent qualification and/or experience, however this is not essential as full training is given. We support all our employees to progress if they wish and when available offer internal opportunities for career progression and training. Regular 1-to-1 supervision and appraisals with the Admin Team Leader take place.

To be successful in this role you will be required be organised, professional and adaptable with excellent communication skills and a high level of written and spoken English.

This Receptionist/Admin Assistant role includes:

Good communication skills

Confident, pleasant customer service skills

Good time management and prioritising work

Managing the flow of visitors to our busy Reception through the day

Ability produce quality documents in a very busy environment

Welcoming service users and their family or carers into the service on arrival

Producing letters via RiO (our clinical record system)

Completing a wide range of admin tasks from an electronic workflow inbox

Scanning, uploading and copying.

Room bookings via outlook room calendars & MICAD our bespoke booking system.
