We are currently recruiting to a band 5 OT position on Chebsey House. Chebsey House is a mixed adult inpatient facility of 20 beds which provides mental health care and support to people of 18 years old upwards.

We reserve the right to close the vacancy early depending on the volume of applications we receive.

Main duties of the job

Successful applicants will be able to function autonomously in multidisciplinary teams, with supervision from an experienced practitioner. There will be an expectation that the post holder will work flexibly, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and effective clinical reasoning. The post will involve taking responsibility for your own caseload of service users for which you will care coordinate. There will be balance between generic and profession specific work. The environment can be fast paced and challenging, however, highly rewarding with ample opportunities to use existing OT skills and for growth of new skills. Your role will involve working with other agencies, families, carers and local communities.
