Job summary

The Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care System (ICS) is seeking a passionate and dedicated Inclusion and Belonging Programme Manager. This vital role is at the forefront of our cultural transformation, championing diversity, equity, and inclusion within our system. The successful candidate will leverage their lived experiences, expertise, and previous roles to build strong relationships with Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) leads across provider organisations and key partners. The aim is to advance the NHS People Plan and broader ICS objectives, ensuring that the voices of all community members are represented and respected.

Main duties of the job

Lead Cultural Transformation: Drive cultural change within the ICS by implementing evidence-based practices and fostering an inclusive work environment.

  • Collaborative Engagement: Inspire and work collaboratively with stakeholders across organisational boundaries to support the transformation and maturation of the ICS.
  • Diverse Workforce Advocacy: Focus on enhancing the experiences of our diverse workforce, ensuring that all initiatives contribute to positive outcomes for both our staff and the patients and citizens we serve.
  • Inclusive Decision-Making: Provide professional and constructive challenge to decision-making processes, ensuring diverse perspectives are considered and integrated.
  • Programme Management: Oversee multiple programmes and projects, ensuring they align with our inclusion and belonging objectives.

About us

The Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent NHS Integrated Care Board (ICB)is responsible for planning functions; managing the NHS budget and arranging the provision of health services in the geographical area.

Location Home based/hybrid working (most of posts). Travel on occasions to a Hub location with at least 1 days notice

  • A successful track record in developing and delivering change programmes on diversity and inclusion, including the ability to think strategically.
  • Experience of developing and delivering cultural change in a large complex organisation.
  • Relevant lived experience of diverse / intersectional inclusion characteristics
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing transformation changes within a complex environment in the area of EDI.

  • Proven experience of planning and delivering highly complex projects across organisations aimed at driving forward change linked to EDI.
