You will be able to make a real impact within our service by collaborating with well-established multidisciplinary teams in the community and with colleagues at Royal Stoke University Hospital. Utilising your excellent interpersonal and communication skills you will drive initiatives to improve and enhance outcomes for patients.

The role requires you to hold a Health Care Professions Council registration and to be able to work across a variety of locations in the North Staffordshire district including clinic, hospital wards, outpatients and domiciliary settings.

Main duties of the job

Main duties of the job

Provide professional and clinical support and leadership to all staff

Take a lead in the management of complex cases within the field of diabetes / wound management, supporting other staff and co-working when needed

Working with service users to develop outcome focused treatment / support plans

Establish and maintain effective working relationships both within the organisation and external organisations

Provide teaching and training in our specialist area to the wider workforce

Be involved with and be prepared to take the lead in clinical audit / research
