Band 3 Dietetic assistant- Internal vacancy for those working towards level 5 apprenticeship. Development role band 3 to band 4
We have an exciting Band 3 to 4 dietetic assistant development opportunity for someone who has completed or is working towards completing their level 5 assistant practitioner apprenticeship.
The role sits within our nutrition support team as part of the Specialist Adult Dietetic Service covering South Staffordshire.
Our team deliver a dietetic service for a wide variety of patients including nutrition support, home enteral feeding, diabetes, mental health, general dietetics and those with complex weight management needs.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will support dietitians reviewing patient plans.
The successful candidate will receive regular clinical supervision as well as opportunities for CPD and personal development, including trust preceptorship program. This post will be based in Cannock or Tamworth with an element of working from home, but the ability to travel independently between venues across Staffordshire and carry equipment is essential to the role.

- NVQ Level 3 in health and Social Care or equivalent
Desirable
- Completed or working towards foundation degree in relevant subject or Diploma/NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care or accredited prior learning with competency-based evidence supplemented by short courses/ training in the subject
Experience

- Experience working in a healthcare setting
- Ability to manage time and caseload effectively
