We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Nursing Sister/Charge Nurse based at Trentside Clinic, Stone. We are a friendly and innovative District Nursing team covering GP practices in the Stone and Eccleshall locality. As a team we have a great interest in moving District Nursing forward in line with local population and service needs.
You will manage a caseload over a wide geographical area by providing support and supervision to staff to enable provision of high quality person-centred care to patients within their own homes and clinic settings.
You will hold a key role in building and maintaining excellent working practices with Social Care and Allied Health colleagues within the primary care network.
You will take responsibility for the planning and delivery of care and the management of staff in the absence of the Clinical Lead/Operational Lead. You must be able to demonstrate managerial and leadership skills and be able to make sound clinical decisions independently.
We are looking for someone with excellent clinical, communication, interpersonal and team skills to work collaboratively across all care settings.

Main duties of the job
You will:- Be competent as appropriate to the requirements of the role.- Demonstrate at all times the Partnership Trust Values of: " We Put QualityFirst, We Focus On People and We Take Responsibility."- Be a Registered Nurse and have a detailed professional and clinicalknowledge. They will be a specialist practitioner and have a focus in one of the following areas;- Palliative care- Management of continence- Administration of medication- Management of long term conditions- Be responsible for a defined population of service users in a variety of settingsacross the Partnership Trust including the community and hospitals.- Be skilled in the assessment of complex/specialist care/support needs and in the development, implementation and evaluation of care/support packages.- Have supervisory, training and leadership responsibilities where appropriate and will have some responsibility for team performance and service developments/improvements.- Demonstrate initiative and be creative in finding solutions to problems.? Work with the team leader undertaking delegated tasks in team management.
