Expression of Interest for internal applicants only- open to current band 7 NMPs working in any IMHT, Crisis or ILS teams in MPFT.
We are looking to appoint an experienced mental health nurse/Non Medical Independent Prescriber (NMP) to join our Integrated Mental Health team based in Tamworth. This role will involve delivering on agreed reviews of prescribed medications for people who are under the Essential Shared Care Agreement (ESCA) with their GPs.
Main duties of the job
You will work closely with their colleagues to deliver on quality and physical health quality improvement and will be responsible for ensuring high quality care for service users within the community. This includes prioritising physical health needs, promoting engagement with screening, assessment and monitoring of physical health and prescribed medications in partnership with primary and secondary care sectors.
Part of this role will also involve working within the IMHT, developing and delivering agreed clinical processes which will include working collaboratively with the clinical team to assess, review and monitor people's health including reviewing prescribed medications as an NMP
