Job summary

Our team delivers clinical trials and research studies within a broad range of physical and mental health specialty areas. Working within a network of team leaders you will help lead the delivery of high quality national research projects at our community hospital site in Cheadle, north Staffs, and from our mobile research unit.

Main duties of the job

You will lead the daily activity of your team, coordinating a mixed portfolio of academic and commercial research, monitoring performance and supporting the team with problem solving, creating action plans and strategies for successful study delivery.

You will also coordinate the daily operation of the community mobile research unit, which will involve networking with external partner organisations

You will act as an expert resource within the team, supporting with strategies to attract research to the Trust and ensuring all research activity complies with regulatory and quality standards

You will be required to travel to different community settings across the geography of the Trust, so you will need a driving licence and access to a car
