Welcome! The Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin NHS Talking Therapies (IAPT) services are busy caring teams consisting of Administration staff, PWPs, CBT Practitioners, and Counsellors. We deliver Talking Therapies to the people of Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin which has exciting, diverse and growing modern towns, surrounded by the stunning Shropshire countryside.
Our NHS Talking Therapies (IAPT) teams are great places to work. We are redefining the service offer, including a new leadership structure, and we need you to help us with this.
We are recruiting 2 x Step 2 Team Leads and 2 x Step 3 Team Leads - these posts are fixed term until 31/03/2024. Pending on changes to Service configuration this role may become permanent in the future.
Workingas part of the operational leadership team, you will provide line management to a group of either Step 2 or Step 3 staff, and will have the opportunity to be actively involved with the service changes and developments through project work.
Main duties of the job
- You will provide all aspects of line management support for a group of Step 2 / Step 3 staff within the Service
- You will work closely with the Operational Lead and Deputy Operational Lead to ensure that the Service KPI's are met
- The Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin NHS Talking Therapies Service is currently in the process of redefining the service offer and as a Team Lead you will have a key role in ensuring that the operational part of this is implemented within the wider service
