Main duties of the job

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a busy Facilities Services Team within the Directorate of Facilities and Estates. The post holder will be a floater within Cluster 2 (Stoke area) and will responsible for a full range of housekeeping duties in service user and staff areas.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the required standard of cleaning services following the correct procedure and frequencies
  • Undertake a variety of cleaning duties in line with the location cleaning schedules
  • Operate mechanical cleaning equipment
  • Replenish disposables and consumables
  • Safely and correctly store cleaning chemicals and equipment
  • Carry out specialist cleaning and one-off cleaning duties in line with requirements. Facilities

Cluster 2 sites - Blurton Health Centre, Smallthorne Health Centre, Burslem Health Centre, Stoke Health Centre, Hanley Health Centre

Facilities and Estates Shared Services

The role is based within the Directorate of Estates and Facilities which provides a wide range of services to its Host Trust and Partners within Staffordshire, Stoke-on -Trent, Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin.

Experience

  • Demonstrable experience to carry out duties to the required standard

Desirable

  • Experience of working in the NHS
  • Computer literate
  • Experience in food preparation and handling
  • Manual handling experience
  • Valid driving licence
