Main duties of the job

You will be expected to provide care and manage Adult patients in the Community and the Inpatient settings. The Community team and the Inpatient team provide to Adults and you will help manage mental disorders in both settings, focusing on ensuring that the service users are supported to remain in their own home wherever hospitalisation can be safely and appropriately avoided and in the hospital setting, to provide good quality care.

Working as part of a multi -disciplinary team you will provide active involvement in the assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of service user care responding quickly to those referred with urgent and high risk mental health needs and provide collaborative, effective, evidence based interventions at the right time with the right person You will need to have the following key skills and experience:

  • Experience of working in a mental health setting
  • Registered with the GMC.
  • Have a genuine passion for working with service users and their families and their carers.
  • Be able to work well in a Team in both settings. Have good communication skills.
