The Women's Clinical Service Unit at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is a leading provider of specialist women's health services in West Yorkshire and places great emphasis on maintaining a high level of patient care.
We are seeking to recruit experienced registered nurses to the Gynaecology specialty at St Jamess University Hospital in Leeds. Various hours are available across the Gynaecology Outpatient Department and Ward J24 / Gynaecology Assessment and Treatment Unit (GATU).
Successful candidates will be motivated and enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about supporting the effective delivery of care across the specialty. They will have the skills to assist the team in providing high-quality, patient-centred care across the outpatient, assessment, and inpatient areas, as well as support the leadership of the unregistered nursing and Nurse Associate workforce. Excellent communication skills are essential, along with the ability to meet the criteria outlined in the person specification. You will be expected to support the service across a 7-day working pattern, including nights when working on Ward J24.
Ward J24 / GATU supports patients presenting with acute or emergency gynaecology issues, complications or concerns in early pregnancy, as well as patients with acute surgical problems.
