Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Physiotherapist with a passion for pelvic health to come and join the Urogynaecology Physiotherapy team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. The post holder will manage a Urogynaecology Physiotherapy caseload and work collaboratively with the wider MDT, including midwifery services, to provide excellent patient care.

Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will be a proactive and motivated individual with a strong commitment to their own continuing and professional development.They will demonstrate the ability to adapt to new challenges, whilst maintaining quality care and supporting innovation within the Pelvic Health Physiotherapy team.

The successful candidate will be part of the existing Urogynaecology Physiotherapy teams at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. They will manage a specialist clinical caseload including the management of Urogynaecology and Gynaecology patients.The post holder will work in outpatients,inpatients and group session provision. You will have the opportunity to contribute to and support service development and work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary teams.The post holder will be supported by Clinical Specialist Physiotherapists and an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner.

We welcome applications from experienced Band 6 Physiotherapists or Band 5 Physiotherapists who can demonstrate the enthusiasm and ability to work at a band 6 level in Pelvic Health.We are seeking individuals who are team players and excellent communicators with a high degree of self motivation for continuing professional development and learning.

It would be desirable for candidates to have completed a postgraduate POGP (or equivalent) course in pelvic floor assessment and/or dysfunction, however this training can be provided where required for the successful candidate.
