Main duties of the job

The role requires a highly visible, professional leader who will work in partnership with the existing Head of Midwifery and senior leadership team to improve quality and safety, and influence within the CSU, across the wider organisation and externally with stakeholders. The post holder will lead on all aspects of maternity governance and quality in addition to the day-to-day management of the service.

You will have considerable senior operational experience and will have the ability to motivate and lead our midwifery workforce on our improvement journey in a large and complex service across 2 acute sites.
