Job summary
An
exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a Medical Secretary within the
Colposcopy team. This would be an ideal opportunity for someone looking to
expand their experience and knowledge. The successful candidate will provide
comprehensive secretarial support within the Colposcopy department, based at
St Jamess Hospital.
This
post is for a fixed term,12month period for part time hours of 22.5 hours per
week.

Main duties of the job
General
secretarial duties will include the typing of correspondence, clinic letters,
discharge summaries, booking appointments, dealing with telephone enquiries
and supporting the various referral to treatment targets. We are looking for
a highly motivated, flexible and hard working person.
Candidates
will need excellent communication skills, the ability to work as part of a
team, to work under minimal supervision and the ability to meet deadlines.
Previous secretarial experience/experience of working in an office
environment is essential.
RSA
II in audio typing or equivalent is an essential requirement to undertake
this varied and interesting role, along with a good standard of English. We
