2 Clerical Officer/Receptionist
Do
you have excellent organisational skills and experience working in an
administrative role? An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Theatres
Admin Team based at the Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust. We are currently
seeking an enthusiastic individual to take on the role of Clerical
Officer/Receptionist.
The
successful applicant will work across a 9-theatre department in Geoffrey
Giles theatres, Lincoln wing at St. Jamess Hospital. The applicant will work
with the other Clerical Officers and provide administrative support to the
theatre team and reception desk duties and other general administrative
tasks.
Experience
in a previous reception or administrative role is essential. You will also
have excellent organisational skills enabling you to effectively manage your
own workload and be able to prioritise and deal with competing demands. You
will be comfortable communicating with both clinical staff and members of the
public. You will have excellent IT skills and the ability to learn to use new
IT systems. Previous experience of working within an NHS setting would be
advantageous but is not essential.
Main duties of the job
Roles
Front
of house, reception duties, maintaining a closed department, vetting and
receiving visitors and company representatives.
Working
with Intellicentrics to allow Representatives from medical companies into our
department.
Liaise
with HUB/ team leaders / Matron
Admin
/ printing
Ordering
paperwork for theatres
Maintaining
stock levels
Liaising
with other reception staff
Cover
sickness / annual leave in other areas at SJUH
Signing
for orders in absence of team leaders, delivering orders to relevant teams.
