Job summary

The Office of the Leeds Independent Inquiry was established following the announcement by the Secretary of State in October 2025. The Data Analyst & Project Officer will work as part of the team to support, and co-ordinate activities related to processing of data for the inquiry.

The Data Analyst & Project Officer will demonstrate knowledge and skills in data analysis, project management and the application of the Leeds Improvement Method. They will assist in the performance of the programme of work ensuring that services are delivered effectively, efficiently and in compliance with Trust Policies and Procedures.

Main duties of the job

Please refer to the attached job description for a full outline of duties. The role will require analysis of high volumes of data, ownership of the collation of required data from multiple sources and creation and maintenance of databases and data capture systems to be shared with stakeholders. There will also be a requirement to produce performance reports and the ability to respond to changes as they arise during the inquiry. The post holder will be required to manage stakeholder relationships both internally and externally to the organisation to ensure efficient and effective production of deliverables.

  • Demonstrable specialist experience of business or data analysis and requirements definition of new systems and/or services to health organisations.

  • Ability to deal with technical and business teams and work autonomously on defined projects.
