The Corporate Operations Team at Leeds Teaching
Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Personal
Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to senior leaders,
including Medical Directors, Directors of Operations, the General Manager and
the Operations Centre. This is a busy and varied role requiring excellent
organisational skills and the ability to work proactively with minimal
supervision. Key duties include diary management, meeting coordination, agenda
preparation, minute taking, action tracking and maintaining effective office
and information systems. You will also support ad hoc tasks to ensure the
smooth running of the Corporate Operations function.

Main duties of the job
The
successful candidate will be adaptable, confident working with senior
colleagues and able to respond to changing priorities in a fast paced
environment. Strong communication skills and previous administrative
experience, including the use of AI tools, are essential. You will work
closely with a wider team of PAs and administrators and benefit from
supportive colleagues and ongoing development opportunities.

Job responsibilities
The
post holder will be accountable for the provision of a comprehensive personal
assistant service to the Medical Directors/Directors of Operations, General
Manager and Operations Centre within the Corporate Operations Team. This will include secretarial activities
such as electronic filing, diary management, document creation and action
tracking from meetings as well as developing, maintaining and managing office
and information systems as well as the co-ordination of ad-hoc duties
assigned in support of the Corporate Operations Team. The post holder will
play a key role in preparing and managing agendas, recording, transcribing,
verifying and distributing meeting minutes, organising follow up actions and
ensuring an effective bring forward/briefing system in respect of key
documentation required and use AI to support delivery of the role; you should
be able to prioritise and manage your own work whilst demonstrating
flexibility to help others in the team to deliver towards tight deadlines. This post requires you to work with minimal
supervision, make independent decisions and take appropriate action to
maintain the professional standard of PA delivery that is required of the
role.
