We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team for a 12-month developmental secondment as Corporate Service Manager, playing a pivotal role in driving forward our Outpatient Transformation Programme and wider initiatives to improve quality and experience and service delivery across the Trust. This opportunity will build on the already well-established programme within LTHT. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to make a tangible difference to patient care, operational efficiency, and staff experience. Working closely with senior leaders, clinical teams, and corporate colleagues, you will support the design, implementation, and monitoring of innovative approaches to outpatient care and broader service improvements.

Main duties of the job
As part of this role, you will work with all Clinical Service Units to standardise practice and improve pathways. You will contribute to embedding GIRFT best practice principles and ensure alignment with collaborative programmes across the West Yorkshire Association of Acute Trusts (WYAAT), working across organisational boundaries to deliver sustainable improvements. Lead and coordinate projects within the Outpatient Transformation Programme, ensuring milestones and deliverables are achieved. Support the development and delivery of Trust-wide performance improvement initiatives, aligning with strategic priorities and system-wide programmes. Embed GIRFT best practice recommendations into outpatient redesign and performance improvement workstreams. Provide high-quality project and programme management support, including business cases, data analysis, and reporting. Work collaboratively with clinicians, operational managers, and corporate services to identify opportunities for efficiency and quality improvements. Monitor and report on performance, identifying risks and recommending evidence-based solutions
About us
The Service Manager will manage a complex programme of interdependent projects across clinical service units to ensure development of financially affordable solutions to capacity and quality issues that affect multiple areas of the Trust and where appropriate work with partners in the community so that organisational boundaries are not a barrier to implementation. This will enable the development, delivery and maintenance of all activity data capture associated with the CDC (Community Diagnostics Centre) ensuring that it delivers a sustainable business as usual model. Working in partnership with clinical staff, commissioners, managers and users, the post holder will lead the redesign of services and business processes and be responsible for facilitating the involvement of all stakeholders to ensure timescales are met and service benefits realised.
