The
Speciality and Integrated Medicine CSU are seeking to recruit a full time
(37.5 hours) permanent, highly motivated and enthusiastic person within the
Endocriniology and Bone Health Department. The successful candidate will work
alongside other members of the admin team to support the Bone Health Service
and wider clinical team within a supportive and encouraging environment. This
post will be to provide a high standard of secretarial and admin duties to
our patients and clinical team, working closely within a multi disciplinary
team in a structured environment. You will work alongside the bone health
team to prepare, record and action any outcomes from the bone MDT meetings.
Were
looking for someone with great communication skills, strong IT knowledge, and
solid clerical experience. Youll need to be able to manage your own
workload, but also work well as part of a team.
Working
hours are 08:0016:00, and theres room for flexible working while keeping
within our flexible working approach.

Main duties of the job
Key
Responsibilities:
Keep patient records up to date and
accurate on our admin systems.
Type up clinical letters and other
patient correspondence for consultants and the clinical team using EPRO.
Respond to emails from clinicians
or team members, sorting things out where you can or passing them on to the
right person.
Take patient calls in a helpful and
professional way, staying discreet and making sure any follow-ups are done.
Work closely with clinicians and
team members to help the department run smoothly.
Support the bone health service by
organising and attending MDT meetings and actioning any follow up outcomes.
Contribute to the timely upkeep of
the FLS (fracture liaison service) national database along side other team
members.
Update, monitor and outcome the
bone health virtual lists.
Organise your workload to keep on
top of departmental priorities.
Take on other duties as needed,
guided by the Senior Medical Secretary, as the service needs change.

The
Endocrinology admin team is made up of 1 Senior Medical Secretary, 3 Medical
Secretaries, 2 Clerk/Typists, and 1 MDT Administrator. The team is
hardworking, knowledgeable, and a genuinely fun and supportive group to work
with.
The
Endocrinology department is a busy and exciting place, offering plenty of
opportunities to learn more about the service and the wider CSU. Leeds

This
role is based at St Jamess Hospital within a friendly, fast-paced
department. Youll need to be able to prioritise your workload, manage
