Job summary
We
are looking for an innovative and enthusiastic Senior Nurse who is passionate
about medical and older adult nursing whilst delivering the best patient
care, who can provide leadership and direction for wards and departments
across Specialty & Integrated Medicine. You'll be expected to
utilise expert operational and clinical knowledge to ensure effective, robust
working relationships with the Head of Nursing, Triumvirate team, CSU
management team and clinical colleagues both within LTHT and external to the
Trust.
You
will need to be proactive and positive; have a proven track record of quality
improvement, display excellent communication skills, be passionate about
making a difference to both patients and staff and be able to evidence
involvement in high impact change and delivery of key nursing outcomes. As a
key member of the senior nursing and management team, you will contribute to
the future strategic direction of the Clinical Service Unit and will ensure
that service needs and patient experience are met to high standards.

Specialty and Integrated Medicine (SIM) clinical service unit encompasses
many specialities, a broad range of jobs and a common goal of providing
seamless integrated patient centred care. We strive to be SIMply the best!

services include Older Peoples Medicine (including Same Day Emergency Care),
Diabetes, Endocrinology, HIV Outpatients, Leeds Sexual Health, Infectious
Diseases and a variety of related specialisms. We work closely with other

of its largest acute patient cohorts.
