Job summary
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic person to appoint to our Quality Team in the blood transfusion department as a Quality Administrative officer. We are looking for a Quality Administrative officer, who is passionate about having a key role in maintaining systems and databases to support service planning and the monitoring of performance of quality indicators. You will work as part of the quality team covering both of our transfusion laboratories at Leeds General Infirmary and St. Jamess University Hospital.You will work very closely with the Quality Manager whose key roles are to lead on Governance (Health and Safety, Risk Management and Quality Management) for Blood Transfusion with a focus on improving the effectiveness of the service in line with regulatory and accreditation body requirements. We are looking for someone with great communication skills and strong IT knowledge. You will be responsible for managing the Electronic Quality Management System. Main duties of the job
As a quality admin, you will have a formal role in the provision of a full and effective administrative and clerical support service to the Department/Service. You will also be responsible for managing the Electronic Quality Management System, helping to develop new quality systems and processes, managing databases and producing reports as required. You will be expected to arrange and plan your own work on a day-to-day basis within the overall demands and priorities of the department.
