The Oncology CSU has some exciting opportunities for 37.5 hours band 3 medical secretaries to join our very friendly and approachable thoracic surgery team.
We also work very closely with our consulting team and admin teams forging strong relationships to deliver the best care for our services users.
Administration experience would be an advantage for this role, along with the ability to type and work under your own initiative.
Main duties of the job
You should be proficient in the typing of correspondence, scanning documents, diary management, dealing with telephone enquiries, collating annual leave, and be able to use the various Microsoft applications.
There will also be an element of theatre scheduling in these roles.
Candidates will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, the ability to work under minimal supervision and have the ability to meet deadlines.
