About us
The
CAR-T service was commissioned in October 2019 by NHS England and opened in
March 2021, one of around 15 centres currently approved to deliver adult CAR-T
treatment in England. NICE have since approved additional indications for CAR-T
therapy and expanded the scope of patients eligible for existing indications.
Due to treatment indications changing the service is expected to grow over the
next 2 years. We are a relatively small team at present, consisting of one CNS,
a Registrar, Consultant, Pharmacist and have support from a Psychologist and an
Advanced Care Practitioner.
We
are an enthusiastic, friendly team, supportive of each other and have a strong
work ethic. We aim to provide the highest standard of care to our patients,
upholding the values of the Leeds way.
Leeds Teaching Hospitals is committed to our process
of redeploying 'at risk' members of our existing workforce to new roles. As
such, all our job adverts are subject to this policy and we reserve the right
to close, delay or remove adverts while this process is completed. If you do
experience a delay in the shortlisting stage of the recruitment cycle, please
