Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen in both the paediatric cardiac(L51) and the paediatric respiratory teams(L38)for qualified nursing associates.

You will play a key role in providing high-quality, safe and family-centred care, supporting children through investigations, treatments and day-to-day clinical needs. The role includes delivering delegated nursing care, supporting procedures, maintaining accurate documentation, and working closely with families to ensure a positive experience during challenging times.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, resilient, and committed to developing specialist skills. You will be supported through induction, education and ongoing professional development within our friendly, dedicated team.

Main duties of the job

To provide and be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individualised programmes of care.

To deliver care without supervision

To participate in the in-service training, preceptorship and mentorship of Apprentices and learners.

To take responsibility as the prime care provider for a group of patients.

To promote confidence in our commitment to provide excellent compassionate patient care.
