An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Band 5 Registered Nurses to join our dynamic and supportive Paediatric Emergency Department team, based at Leeds General Infirmary. Main duties of the job
This post covers a 24-hour service, including day shifts, late shifts, twilights, and night shifts.
If you are passionate about Emergency Medicine and feel ready for the challenge of this exciting specialty, we would be delighted to hear from you.
Informal visits to the Paediatric Emergency Department are strongly encouraged.
To arrange a visit or for further information, please contact one of the Senior Sisters. We work closely with Leeds Childrens Hospital, liaising with bed managers and ward teams to ensure the best possible patient experience and care journey.

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trusts Urgent Care Clinical Service Unit (CSU) operates across St James Hospital and Leeds General Infirmary, with a designated Childrens Hospital. Our Paediatric Emergency Department is part of the Urgent Care CSU and sits within the regional major trauma centre for both adults and children.
