The
Women's Clinical Service Unit at Leeds Teaching Hospital NHS Trust is a leading
provider of specialist women's health services in West Yorkshire, and places
great emphasis upon maintaining a high level of patient care.
Gynaecology
Outpatient Department (GOPD) comprises several services in one dedicated space,
such as Colposcopy, Hysteroscopy, Urogynaecology, fertility, menstrual health
and gynaecology conditions.

We are looking for 2 individuals to join our team:
2
x 18 hours contract
The
hours will be to cover the service Monday to Friday, with occasional evening
and Saturday clinic cover. This will be a mix of days and full days.

Main duties of the job
The
jobholder will be actively involved in providing direct and indirect
compassionate care for patients in support of and supervised by a registered
practitioner. The jobholder will assist in the overall implementation of care
as part of the multi professional team. The jobholder is expected to deliver
and maintain high standards of acute and planned care. The jobholder will be
skilled in taking appropriate action(s) to achieve the planned outcome. The
jobholder will contribute to the maintenance of an environment for effective
care. The jobholder will be expected to practice in accordance with Leeds
Teaching Hospital NHS Trust (LTHT) policies, guidelines, standards and
statutory requirements and operate within defined competency boundaries. The
job holder will work within a ward or clinical department.

- NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care, Level 2 Diploma in Healthcare Support or equivalent health care related qualification
- The Care Certificate or in the absence of this the applicant must successfully attain the Care Certificate within the first 3 months of employment
Desirable
- Basic skills Maths and English Level 1 (equivalent of GCSE 1- 9 (A*-G))
