Job summary

We are looking for a highly motivated individual RN to join the Acute and Obstetric Team in the Leeds General Infirmary.

The Team work within a number of clinical areas, primarily in the Acute and obstetric theatres, also Accident and Emergency Resus, Cardiac Cath labs and Interventional Radiology. You will be part of a supportive, collaborative Team with a multidisciplinary approach to peri-operative care pathways.

We work with clinical experts from many specialties, including Vascular, Maxillofacial, ENT, Radiology, Cardiology and Anesthesia. The LGI is a designated Major Trauma Centre and is also Tertiary Referral Hospital for the above specialties

Main duties of the job

Successful applicants would be qualified practitioners willing to learn and expand their scrub practice in a wide variety of specialties We are looking for individuals who are comfortable working in a team with excellent communication skills and who are happy to face different challenges each day.

For all new starters to the Trust, we have a structured Introduction to Professional Practice (IPP) Induction program to prepare you for working at LTHT. We also have a 6-month preceptorship framework to support you in your new role, which incorporates further education sessions and support forums.

The position will require 24 hour 7 days working with a flexible working pattern
